Origins in Corporate Communications
Fusion-PRo was originally set up in order to provide a line of Corporate Communications Services to its emerging markets clients. The aim, according to Fusion-PRo's founder, Matthew Francis was:
'To deliver a best in class corporate communications service into key industry sectors through an experienced team of corporate communications professionals.'
Having worked in the field of corporate communications in the UK and overseas (primarily in Asia & The Middle East) for fifteen years, Matthew had established relationships with a portfolio of communications specialists. These are professionals who have worked at Board level in some of the largest global corporations. Not only do they have extensive industry knowledge of the sectors they have advised but also bring unique understanding of how to effectively communicate in diverse and cross-cultural environments.
Advisory Boards
As more and more projects were delivered into sectors that required specialist knowledge (Oil & Gas, Mining, Telecommunications, Automotive, Defence and Alternative Energy) it became apparent that companies in these sectors required the services of a specialist Advisory Board comprised of industry professionals who truly understood their line of business. A good knowledge of the area of communications was insufficient if the advice was not directly applicable to the client's sector and geography. This was when Fusion-PRo started providing specialist Advisory Boards into the sectors they already specialised in.
